On Wednesday, May 20, the Danish core collection of potatoes moved to the TystofteFonden.

The seedlings are the genetic and disease-free origin of Danish potato production.
From these plants are used to propagate mini-plants, which are grown at Elmegaard Andersen Gartneriet on Agersø by Per Andersen. The produced mini tubers enter the multiplication chain of the Danish pre basic produceres.
Every year we will produce about 140,000 mini tubers of different varieties.
